AI4Globe, an international AI literacy initiative, has been officially recognized by UNESCO and included among the flagship projects of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024–2033).
The project aims to raise global awareness and understanding of artificial intelligence across diverse groups — including children, youth, women, academia, and small and medium-sized businesses. It creates multilingual multimedia resources, develops international partnerships, and delivers training programs that promote responsible and inclusive use of AI.
Already active beyond Georgia, AI4Globe is being implemented in multiple countries, including in the Middle East and North Africa, sharing educational content and fostering cross-border collaboration.
UNESCO emphasized that AI4Globe fully aligns with the Decade’s mission to strengthen the role of science in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, while promoting equitable and inclusive solutions to global challenges.
