AI Literacy’s New Horizon: Georgia’s AI4Globe for the World

AI4Globe is an innovative international initiative aimed at fostering global artificial intelligence literacy. The project significantly transforms educational experiences, unlocking new opportunities to realize AI’s potential.

With its unique and comprehensive approach that includes educational activities, international partnerships, multimedia resources, and more, the initiative engages diverse demographic groups, including children, youth, women, academia, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Initially, the project will be implemented in Georgia, followed by its global expansion and dissemination.

AI4Globe focuses on engaging four primary target groups:

Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: The initiative will conduct training programs and workshops to effectively integrate AI into business processes. Unique multimedia resources will also be created and shared through open access. The initiative will host AI business camps, train-the-trainer (ToT) programs, and offer free digital transformation consulting services. Collaboration with the European Business Association (EBA) is central to this component.

Children and Youth: AI4Globe will develop specialized educational programs that provide children and young people with the skills to understand and learn AI, preparing them to become leaders in tomorrow’s digital economy.

Women: The initiative aims to empower women by offering targeted AI literacy programs, promoting gender equality in technology, and encouraging women’s active participation in AI-related fields.

Academic Community: Collaboration with universities and academic institutions will help develop educational materials and foster research opportunities, broadening the scope of AI innovation and studies.

Quote from the European Business Association (EBA):
“AI4Globe is a significant step in making technology more accessible. By increasing AI literacy, we empower individuals and communities, particularly children and women, to harness the transformative potential of AI. Together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society that embraces innovation for all.”

AI4Globe’s partners include UNICEF, UN Women, UNICRI, KTH (Sweden), the University of Granada (Spain), TalTech (Estonia), the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal), the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (Germany), Beetroot Academy (Sweden-Ukraine), Tekwill, and the European Business Association.

This collaboration of leading global institutions underscores AI4Globe’s mission to democratize AI literacy, enabling individuals and organizations worldwide to leverage the transformative power of artificial intelligence.
